Princess Zelda is the Princess of Hyrule and is the titular character of the Legend of Zelda series. She wields the Triforce of Wisdom, and is frequently sought by Ganondorf because of it. She appears as a Guest Object in the Wii U and European 3DS versions of Scribblenauts Unlimited.
Zelda is naturally invincible, and cannot be defeated normally. She deals 5 HP with her unarmed attacks.
Like other Nintendo guest objects, Zelda can only be given specified items, cannot have adjectives applied to her, and cannot be edited with the Object Editor.
Behavior
Zelda is curious of Link, and will often fight alongside him, attacking anybody who hurts him. Zelda is afraid of the Ganon and Ganondorf though, and will always run away from them regardless of if Link is involved. She is generally neutral to all other NPCs and the player. When attacked, she runs away scared, and will only fight in response to Link getting hurt.
Zelda will pick up Rupees and the Triforce if she sees them. Like Link, she will pick up and use the Ocarina from the Zelda series to summon Epona, but Zelda won't try to ride her afterwards.
Zelda can also be given Coins, Super Mushrooms, Fire Flowers, Super Stars, Yoshi Eggs, Hookshots, and the Master Sword.
Only one Zelda or Sheik can exist in a level at a time. Creating a new Zelda or Sheik while one is already in a level will destroy the previous one.
Trivia
- Zelda's appearance is based on her incarnation in The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker.
- Zelda assisting Link during battle is a reference to how she aids Link during the climax of several Zelda games, typically making the boss vulnerable and allowing Link to strike them.
- Zelda treats Dark Link like any other NPC, and isn't afraid of him like the other Zelda villains. This changes if Link starts fighting him.
- Unlike Princess Peach, "Princess Zelda" is not considered a synonym for Zelda.
- Zelda and Sheik are alter-egos, with "Sheik" actually being Princess Zelda in disguise. This is why they cannot be used simultaneously.
