The Master Sword is Link's signature weapon in the Legend of Zelda series. It's a sacred weapon that can only be wielded by a chosen hero, and is often the only weapon capable of defeating Ganon. It appears as Guest Object in the Wii U and European 3DS versions of Scribblenauts Unlimited.
It is naturally indestructible and cannot be destroyed by normal means.
Like other Nintendo guest objects, the Master Sword cannot have adjectives applied to it and cannot be edited with the Object Editor.
Behavior
The Master Sword is a powerful weapon, dealing 50 HP of damage per hit. It can also be used to chop Trees. Unlike the Zelda series, anybody is capable of wielding it. Link will automatically equip the Master Sword if he sees it, and Navi is interested in it.
Criminals and Monsters, including Ganondorf and Ganon will become scared of anybody holding it. However, this does not apply to Dark Link, or Mario series enemies.
The Nintendo characters able to be given the Master Sword are Toads, Peach, Yoshis, Goombas, Link, Zelda, Sheik, Tingle, Beedle, Gorons, Dark Link, and Ganondorf.
Two Master Swords cannot exist in one level at the same time. Creating a new Master Sword while one is already in a level will destroy the older one.
Trivia
- The Master Sword's design is based on its appearance in The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker.
- Due to a glitch, Ganondorf, Criminals and Monsters briefly become scared if they are given the Master Sword themselves while standing close to the player.
- Dark Link likely isn't scared of the Master Sword so he can fight Link while he's wielding it.
