A Ghost is a spirit of soul of the dead that acts as if it were alive. They are depicted as floating white sheets with yellow eyes, like that of bedsheet ghost costumes.

Scribblenauts

In Scribblenauts, it was invincible to anything but proton packs, doomsday items and being turned to stone. Ghosts in the original Scribblenauts were also weak to ectoplasm.

Super Scribblenauts

Ghosts can be killed by any weapon in Super Scribblenauts, and are passive unless you attack it or kill something near it. This behaviour is useful for missions where you have to destroy enemies, though it doesn't attack certain creatures. If you create a coffin or urn and open it, a ghost will appear.

When it investigates an inanimate object, such as a house or a jug, it will disappear and give the haunted adjective to the object. If you interact with the object, the Haunted adjective will be removed and the ghost will reappear.

• The word Akuma is Japanese for Demon.
• In Scribblenauts, the words Calodemon and Calodaemon are misspelt; they're supposed to be Cacodemon and Cacadaemon respectively.
• A Cacodemon or Cacodaemon is an evil spirit (a demon) that is the opposite of an angel or a good spirit, considered to possess a soul into insanity. There also exists a medical condition called cacodemonomania in which a human (or creature) shows signs of being possessed.
• A Eidolon is a shade or phantom look-alike of the human form.
• An Acheri is a creature from Native American folklore. It's a malicious unrested spirit of a little girl who was either murdered or abused and left to die. She comes down from mountains and hilltops at night to bring sickness to humans, particularly children.
• Curiously, ghosts lose all adjectives when being spawned from haunted objects, even after haunting something on their own.
