The Vampire is the reanimated body of a dead person believed to come from the grave at night and suck the blood of persons asleep.
It can be spawned as a NPC, but it's also a purchable character in Super Scribblenauts for Ø 2750.
Appearance
The vampire seems to be based on movie depictions of Dracula. He has black hair, pale skin, fangs, pointy ears and yellow pupilless eyes. He is wearing a white shirt, a black tuxedo with a frill, a red belt and cape.
Behavior
Vampires are hostile towards people, but indifferent towards animals and monsters. They were immortal in the first game, but this was changed in recent games, having 250 HP instead.
In Scribblenauts, vampires transform people into ghouls when attacking. In Super Scribblenauts, they instead turn people into other vampires. Starting in Scribblenauts Unlimited, they no longer transform people directly, and instead give the vampiric adjective to their victims.
They are stronger than the regular human, dealing 20 of damage when disarmed. They can also instantly kill a vampire hunter when they aren't equipping their stake.
The cross, holy water, garlic, monstrance, quantum destabilizer, rosary, and stake can be used to scare and kill vampires. When moving close to the Sun they will die. Upon death, they drop ash.
Bats are curious towards vampires. Vampires are curious towards coffins and hostile towards Mirrors.
Female Variant
Female Vampire
The female Vampire has a black bun, eyeshadow over her eyes, a black and red dress, and black high heels.

Trivia

- When a "vampiric vampire" is killed, it will leave behind two piles of ash, one for the adjective and one for the vampire itself.
- This object is used in the mission I'd stake your life on it from Scribblenauts Unlimited.
- Garlic won't work on them in the Scribblenauts Unmasked mission "You are powerless without knowing my weakness!".
