The Morrigan, also known as Mórrígan or Mór-ríoghain is a figure from Irish mythology who's name roughly translates to "Great Queen" or "Phantom Queen". She is a deity heavily associated with war and fate. Morrigan is capable of shape-shifting, and often appears as a crow to known as the Badb, foretelling doom, death, or victory in battle. Sometimes instead of one individual the Morrigan is instead described as a trio of sisters known as the three Morrígna.
Appearance
The Morrigan appears as a woman with black hair wearing an all-black dress, representing death.
Behavior
Although the Morrigan looks human, she is considered Category:Undead. Other NPCs are scared of her and will run away, however, she doesn't show any outward signs of aggression towards then. Because Morrigan is considered undead, Ghost Hunters will attack her.
Male Variant
Male Morrigan
The Male Morrigan has black hair, and wears a mostly black outfit with a vest, pants and shoes. Unlike the female version, his outfit isn't entirely black, as he wears a white shirt underneath.
Trivia
- Despite appearances, the series does not consider Morrigan human in any regard.
- This is likely due to their ability to shape-shift in mythology, suggesting the form she takes in Scribblenauts may not be her real appearance.
