Trivia
- Syntax refers to the organization of words in sentences.
- None of Maxwell's brothers are unlocked here.
- The level's map icon is based on the Rocket Ship object.
- Kana Craters and Palindromeda also use similar rockets for their icons.
- Due to a glitch with the object editor, creating a new custom avatar within Syntax Station will give that avatar permanent anti-gravity. This effectively grants the avatar the ability to fly without any adjectives, regardless of what level they're used in. This is possible in all versions of Scribblenauts Unlimited that allow players to make custom avatars, being the Wii U, PC, and Mega Pack releases.
- Note that for players to take advantage of this glitch, a completely new avatar has to be made. Any custom avatars made before reaching Syntax Station cannot be copied edited to have this trait applied.
- The shard Never Saw It Coming! is a reference to the TV show Firefly, which revolves around the crew of the firefly-class starship Serenity. Both the shard's completed description and the use of a literal firefly reference the spaceship seen in the show.
- The shard Interstellar Stowaways! shard may be a reference to the anime Cowboy Bebop.
- The shard Thinking with Transporters! is a reference to The Fly, which is about a scientist that accidentally combined himself with a fly during a teleporter experiment.
- Combining different items with the mad scientist can produce different things on the other teleporter. For example, while most object simply produce mutants, combining the scientist with technology creates cyborgs, and using insects creates mothmen.
- The shard's name "Thinking with Transporters!" is a separate reference, this time to the line "now you're thinking with portals" from the video game Portal.
- The League of Evil Scientists seen in the mission Space Station Infiltration! first appeared in the Lost Kingdom of Parentheses.
- During the mission Space Station Infiltration!, if the player uses cannibal large steel doors to destroy the doors and reach the switch earlier than intended, they'll find that pulling it does nothing.
- When it comes time to pull the switch in Space Station Infiltration!, if the player uses an engineer to pull it remotely, their character will quickly slide into place to be trapped in the cell as intended anyway. The player will even slide through walls if the room was escaped using cannibal large steel doors.
