The Moon is a large natural satellite of the Earth, which orbits the earth in space and is visible at night. Other planets have their own moons as well, with most planets having several compared to the Earth's one.
Appearance
The original appearance of the moon is as a small, stylized crescent moon, rather than as the full circle represented by the full moon.
The sprite was redesigned in Scribblenauts Showdown. It's new design is larger and more accurate to the real moon during it's Waning Crescent phase, but it remains yellow and keeps a literal crescent shape. This redesign is later seen in the Scribblenauts Mega Pack version of Scribblenauts Unlimited, but strangely the original design is still used in the Mega Pack version of Scribblenauts Unmasked.
Behavior
Prior to Scribblenauts Unlimited, the moon would darken the sky when placed, as if it was becoming night. This was changed in Scribblenauts Unlimited however, and instead the moon only gives off a small amount of light.
Notably, the standard moon object does not cause lycanthropic objects to transform into werewolves like the Full Moon does.
