A vending machine is a machine that dispenses small articles such as food, drinks, or cigarettes when a coin, bill, or token is inserted.
In the game world, the vending machine dispenses for free! Simply interact with it and it will dispense something.
In the first three games, it contains a single Candy Bar, which can be emptied out of it.
In Scribblenauts Unlimited onwards, the vending machine can repeatedly drop any of the 80 following items each time it's interacted with:

- In the original release of Scribblenauts, you can cheat in an action stage with it. Place the vending machine by a Starite. Spawn a handcuff and chain the starite to the vending machine and it will go inside! Bring the vending machine to you and use it. The starite will pop out with the chocolate. Mission Complete!
