The Hero is a person who is admired for great or brave acts or fine qualities.

It can be spawned as a NPC, but it is also a playable avatar in Super Scribblenauts for Ø 2500.

Appearance

The hero is a man with brown hair. He is wearing a blue bodysuit with an orange logo and a red mask, cape, speedo, gloves and boots.

In Scribblenauts Showdown and the version of Scribblenauts Unlimited seen in the Scribblenauts Mega Pack, the Hero's sprite has been recolored. He now wears a yellow bodysuit with a Red logo and Teal accessories.

Behavior

Heroes have 200 health points and their punch attack deals 20 of damage, being stronger than the regular man. They are protective towards all human beings, including Maxwell.

They have the ability to fly and are hostile towards criminals and monsters, including non-hostile ones like elementals and aliens.

• The reason the Hero's design was altered starting in Showdown is unknown. While no official statement has been given, one possibility is that it was done to distance the design from Superman, especially since the games following Scribblenauts Unmasked that no longer feature DC content.
  • Notably, Showdown redesigned several Sprite References in a similar fashion, which may support this theory.
