Effects

Super Scribblenauts

This adjective gives the wielder the ability to morph into a larger version of itself when attacked. Inanimate objects will stay inanimate until they get attacked. Not only will it do so, but it will temporarily gain the Huge and Angry adjectives, attacking all in sight.

Super objects can take up to 10 plasma. It will cease attacking once it has calmed down and return to its normal size. This will revert it back to friendly.

Upon being hit with a powerful attack, Super objects often spawn temporary explosive Starites. The explosive Starites often perpetuate their anger, since Super objects like to grab them.

When placed near the player, super objects will approach them and spawn a winged dotted bathtub for them.

Scribblenauts Unlimited

This adjective causes the object to become bigger, slightly smaller than the large adjective, it doesn't make nonliving objects sentient.

The wielder will be able to move faster, their damage will be multiplied by 4 and their health will become 1000 (even when they have more than 1000 health points). Objects also won't run away when attacked, but they still run away from monsters.

A unique version of the adjective is given by Super Mushrooms in the Wii U and European 3DS versions of the game. This version cannot normally be used by the player.

• The unique behavior of the adjective in Super Scribblenauts is likely an easter egg to make the adjective stand out, due to the game's name.
• The size increase and anger seen in Super Scribblenauts may be a reference to Hulk, who gets bigger and stronger the more he gets angry.
• The size increase aspect of Super seen in Unlimited is a reference to the Super Mario series, with Mario becoming big after receiving a Super Mushroom and becoming "Super Mario". The other benefits of Super seem unrelated though.
  • This reference was likely intended before the deal with Nintendo was made to include Mario items in the game, including an actual Super Mushroom.
