Springhares are rodents of the genus pedetes, small, nocturnal, jumping animals that inhabit arid lands to the East and south of Africa. In game, it is a thin brown creature with long feet and a bushy black tail, which moves forward by jumping. It eats Carrots, Grass , and Leaves. It does not fear the large mammalian predators that eat it.
