A Poodle is a breed of dog with unique fur that quickly grows long and thick but doesn't shed. This makes them hypoallergenic, and very unlikely to trigger allergies, though their fur requires frequent care. Poodles are often used for making dog crossbreeds that are allergy friendly, though they are also popular with owners who like to style their dogs.
Appearance
Poodles from Scribblenauts to Scribblenauts Unmasked have been styled to have their fur dyed pink, and have their legs shaved, leaving "pom-poms" on the end of their legs and tail. With their legs shaved, the brown skin beneath the poodle's coat is also visible.
Poodles were redesigned in Scribblenauts Showdown and Scribblenauts Mega Pack, with their new design now being larger and no longer having shaved legs. Their tails are shorter, though they keep the styled pom-pom from the earlier design. Instead of always being pink, they are randomly spawned in one of three colors: Pink, Brown, and Cream.
Behavior
Like any other dog, they will immediately attack cats and postmen when they see them.
They are curious towards hydrants and other dogs, and protective towards puppies and pet houses. They will eat bones, meat and dog food and equip balls.
Trivia
- The synonym "Labradoodle" could be used to spawn poodles prior to Scribblenauts Showdown and Scribblenauts Mega Pack, where they were instead made a unique dog breed.
- All poodle designs used in the series have been styled in some way, and a poodle with a "natural" coat has yet to be seen in the series.
- In Scribblenauts Showdown and Scribblenauts Mega Pack, several dog crossbreeds were added as unique objects, with nearly all of them being various poodle mixes. These include the Labradoodle, Goldendoodle, Schnoodle, Peekapoo, Cockapoo, Maltipoo, and Yorkipoo.
