Mimi is a dancing humanoid rabbit and is one of the two mascots of the Pop'n Music series. She is very close to her best friend Nyami and is usually wearing a new outfit in each game she appears in. She appears as a Guest Object in the Japanese versions of Scribblenauts and Super Scribblenauts.
Scribblenauts
Mimi uses special idle and walk animations that make her look like she's dancing. She will pick also pick up Stereos and activate Jukeboxes. If a hostile enemy is placed near Mimi, she will run away scared.
Super Scribblenauts
Mimi's behaviors were changed to be relatively generic in Super Scribblenauts. She now uses normal idle and walk animations, and will not interact with stereos or jukeboxes anymore. She is no longer scared away by hostile enemies, and if they attack her she will now attempt to fight back.
Trivia
- Mimi's outfit in Scribblenauts is based on her appearance as 1P in Pop'n Music 3.
- In both Scribblenauts and Super Scribblenauts, Mimi and Nyami function exactly the same.
- Mimi has no special interactions with Nyami, despite being best friends.
- Mimi's arms are notably short in both Scribblenauts and Super Scribblenauts. This also doesn't match Nyami's design in Scribblenauts.
- Mimi's arms seem to only be short in Scribblenauts because her arm sprite was cropped wrong.
- Instead of fixing Mimi, Super Scribblenauts makes Mimi and Nyami's designs match by cropping Nyami's arms wrong too.
- Mimi's arms seem to only be short in Scribblenauts because her arm sprite was cropped wrong.
