A Mech is a large, walking vehicle capable of being piloted by a human.
Appearance
The Mech appears as a bipedal vehicle, with a large cockpit for it's body, two legs, and arms with guns. It also has more guns on the back of the cockpit.
Behavior
The mech has 250 health, weighs as much as an elephant, and sinks in water. It can be ridden, and moves by walking using legs, and is one of the only vehicles with the ability to jump. It can be used to shoot small rockets that explode on contact.

- The word "Mech" can also sometimes be used to refer to a large, independent robot without a human driver. This is still in the game, but is a distinct object, known as a mecha instead.
- The Mech bears resemblance to the Timber Wolf/Mad Cat BattleMech of the BattleTech franchise.
- In Scribblenauts Unmasked the Joker has a unique mech which he uses during a mission. It looks identical to the normal mech, but is covered in joker-themed graffiti, and has significantly more health.
- Scribblenauts Showdown also introduced a unique, giant mech players can spawn called a mega mech. This is a completely unique item, with a different design and abilities.
- The Mech is not the only vehicle with the ability to jump, even if the Joker Mech is considered the same vehicle. This is because Mega Mech is still capable of jumping if it has it's flight disabled with the earthbound adjective.
