A Cocker Spaniel is a type of dog originating in the UK, and was originally bred for hunting a bird known as the woodcock. Cocker Spaniels consist of two distinct breeds; American Cocker Spaniels and English Cocker Spaniels. The one seen in game appears to be the American variety, with fluffier ears and a smaller body.
Behavior
Like any other dog, they will immediately attack cats and postmen when they see them.
They are curious towards hydrants and other dogs, and protective towards puppies and pet houses. They will eat bones, meat and dog food and equip balls.
Trivia
- While both the American and English breeds are cocker spaniels, neither term can be used to spawn a cocker spaniel in game.
- Strangely, "English Cocker Spaniel" is a valid word, but is a synonym for a Golden Retriever instead. Meanwhile "American Cocker Spaniel" isn't a valid and cannot spawn anything.
