Cows are docile farm animals in Scribblenauts.

It is one of the items into which a random object will transform.

Behavior

Cows have slow speed, a bash attack that deals 10 points of damage and 60 health points. Cows can also be mounted and jump. When petted, they will produce buttermilk. When they produce buttermilk in Scribblenauts Unlimited you will get a Starite Shard.

Cows will follow bulls and farmers while bulls and farmers give protection to it, milkmaids will pet them. Aliens and butchers will attack them. If they are attacked, they will flee. When defeated they will drop a ground beef. They will run away from people carrying Knives, Shivs, or Cleavers.

When you feed ground beef to a cow (by giving the carnivorous adjective, for example), they will get the rabid adjective and shortly die.

• The rabid cow behavior is a reference to the common mad-cow disease, that is caused by feeding a cow with protein.
• One of the cow's sounds in Scribblenauts Unlimited sounds is "shazoo", which is a reference to the Family Guy episode, "Road to Germany".
