Edgar's Cane, known as @CurseBreakingCane in the game's files, is an object in Scribblenauts Unlimited that cannot normally be spawned by the player. It is held by Edgar when he appear at Edwin's Farm after the player collects 60 Starites and saves Lily. The cane functions similarly to a Medusa Head, shooting projectiles that petrify the target.
Without using glitches, the cane is only obtainable by stealing it from Edgar. As Edgar only appears once per save file, the cane is permanently lost if the level is reset or the cane gets destroyed before it's stored. It's recommended that the player stores the cane in the Magic Backpack, so that they can continue to access it later without the risk of losing it.
The "@ method" glitch can be used to create Edgar's cane at any point by entering "@CurseBreakingCane" in the notebook. This can be used to obtain the cane before beating the game, or to make another one if the player lost theirs.
Trivia
- Every once in a while, the cane will stop working.
- When used to attack it shoots out Stone Magic.
